Even the youths shall faint and be weary,
And the young men shall utterly fall,
But those who wait on the Lord
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.
Lord, we thank you, because whenever we find ourselves in situations where we are about to lose strength and give up and reach the point in our lives where we become weary and tired, you said in your word that those who wait for you shall renew their strength. A promise that you have for those who wait on you. Teach us Lord and give us the grace, to wait for you that we may have the strength that enables us to keep going for you are the source of our strength. In Jesus’s name, we pray. Amen.
