Married couples are considered by the Lord as one in His sight (Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. Gen. 2:24). So they should treat each other with love and respect. But there are cases when a husband fails to understand his wife. The Lord commands husbands to love their wives as He loves the church (Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; Eph. 5:25). 1.    Prayer for Transformation

Your husband may have a callous and cold heart. But there is good news! Our God can replace a heart of stone with one of flesh (A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. Ezek. 36:26). With His presence and overflowing love, He can destroy the walls of bitterness, anger, and pride. As the author of marriage, God wants a husband and wife to stay together for a lifetime (Matt. 19:6). Abba Father, thank You for staying with me despite what I am going through. Grant peace in my marriage and my home, Father. Let Your presence be upon me and my spouse’s life. Reveal to him what Jesus did on the Cross for the forgiveness of our sins and reconciliation of Your relationship with him.
