I long to one day be married to a man who will long for me as well. I want a man who prays to God that he may someday meet me. Instead of looking, I have decided to wait for God’s perfect time, for I believe that our Father knows and hears our prayers. During those times, I wait and pray that my husband will embody certain characteristics.

Heavenly Father,

Whomever he is, wherever he may be, I pray that You are with him. I pray that he is a good man who fears You, has stability in his life and embraces balance. I pray that he will be able to take care of me and provide for me and our future family. Amen.

There are many ways to pray for a good future husband. We first need to remember to surrender ourselves to our Father and what we desire. Our Father is a kind and generous father who answers all our prayers. By putting all our faith and trust in Him, our future will be secured, as His plan for our future is to prosper and He has no wish to harm us. 

“Almighty Father, I surrender myself to you. You taught us that all my prayers will be answered if I have faith. I have not directly asked You, but Father, I pray that whomever he may be, wherever he is, that my future husband is praying for me as well. Protect him from any harm and guide him in all that he does. Prepare him for the life we shall have together so that he will love me and be a true follower of Yours.”
