Prayer For a Safe Trip for My Husband

Is your husband taking a trip today? Don’t forget to pray for his protection by asking God to keep him safe until he arrives at his destination. Through the finished work of Jesus Christ, we can expect that He will protect us wherever we go (Ps. 121:7-8). You can ask God’s protection for your husband through this prayer:

Abba Father, grant protection over my husband against any accident. Let the Blood of Jesus cover all the roads where my husband will go. Do the same for the vehicles he will travel in while he is on the trip. Whatever evil plans the enemy has against my husband, I renounce them, in Jesus’ Name! I declare a safe journey for my spouse. Prayer against natural disasters

Natural disasters are unpredictable, creating destruction in unexpected places, but you should not worry. We can trust the Lord because He is our refuge and fortress (Ps. 9:12). Although your husband is many miles away, God will keep him safe against natural disasters. Just as Jesus calmed the strong winds (Matt. 8:23-27 – For he who avenges blood remembers; he does not ignore the cries of the afflicted.), He has given you the authority to do the same. Is your husband going on a business trip, or does his traveling involve his job? You can ask for God’s favor to be with him, resulting in successful transactions and new connections. With the blessing of God in his life, you can expect your husband to go places he has never been. The Lord can lead him into a destiny he never imagined (1 Cor. 2:9 – However, as it is written: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived”[a]— the things God has prepared for those who love him). Dear Lord, grant Your favor to my husband on his trip today. Let all his transactions be successful. May he forge new connections that will be helpful to him, not only socially but also spiritually. Some husbands cannot stand to be away from their families. Homesickness will strike them, and they will fail to enjoy the time while they are away on their trips. If your husband quickly gets homesick, you can pray to God to cheer him up. Although he is away from you, the Lord is always with him (Jos.1:9). You can renounce the sadness of your husband through this prayer:

Father, You know how lonely and sad my husband becomes when he is away from us. Cheer him up, Father. Remind him that You are with him wherever he is today. Fill his heart with joy and love so that he may enjoy every moment of his trip. I renounce worries and homesickness in his heart, in Jesus’ Name! For this, I pray. Amen.
