And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
Lord, whenever we find weaknesses in ourselves, we thank you because these weaknesses are not going to be the reason for us to be weak. We thank you because it is in our weaknesses where your strength and power is even more displayed and made perfect. Because of your grace in our lives Lord, we are strong despite being weak for your grace alone is sufficient. We can be strong, not because of our own strength but because of your strength. It is our prayer that we will always rely on this grace that is always made available to us in Christ. In Jesus’s name we pray. Amen.
