For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
Father, we thank you because fear is something that is never from you and something that you never give to us. We thank you God because, whenever we find ourselves feeling afraid or fearful, it is where you give us the spirit of power, love, and self-control. Remind us God, that the enemies we face, no matter what enemy that is, whether sickness, financial lack, or the big problems that we have, you have given us the spirit of power and in Christ, we have the power against it. Let love also be our weapon always against our enemies. And that we claim and pray in Jesus’s name. Amen.
