How Do I Ask God To Restore My Marriage?

Marriage is like a battlefield. However, the difference is that your battle is with someone you love and treasure. Thus, you both wish for a result in which both sides are satisfied. However, you don’t need to face this battle alone, for God has said, “For the battle is not yours, but God’s” in 2 Chronicles 20:15. Seek God for guidance and strength so that you can find a quick solution for restoring your marriage.

Seek God for guidance on how you can restore your marriage. Pray that your heart remains willing to seek the changes needed to restore your marriage and that you are prepared to change. If you are unable to confront your husband, trust the Lord, for He will speak for you and help your husband see the truth.

By devoting your life to God and entrusting your marriage to Him, the battle not only becomes yours to face but becomes God’s battle as well. In  (The Lord is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him. Psalm 28:7), David’s power came from trusting God, which allowed him to defeat Goliath. Always remember Proverbs 3:5-6: Do not rely on yourself, but instead, seek God, for He knows the way and we don’t.

“Father, I entrust my marriage to You. I know that You have the solution to how I can restore my marriage. Father, forgive my husband and me for our sins. Our relationship is beginning to crumble, and I am failing to keep the oath I took during my marriage. Lord, I know my marriage is sacred, which is why I entrust my marriage to You. Ask God To Speak For You

When you are unable to communicate with your husband. Turn to God, who will speak in your stead. He will let your husband feel His presence and love, then enlighten your husband with how you feel, and will bring about the change you are seeking. .(Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act.  Psalm 37:5) mentioned that we must walk in God’s grace and commit ourselves to Him so that He will help you in times of trouble. Ask God For Strength To Confront The Issue

In order to restore your marriage, you must face the problem before you. Consider each issue that has led you to this situation. By confronting them, you’ll soon realize the problem and find a way to solve it. Thus, you and your husband will learn from your mistakes and seek the changes you both need to make in order to make your marriage work again. Based on (for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, Romans 3:23), remember that you are not perfect and that making mistakes is normal. Also, as Matthew 18:15 says, you must confront the person who has sinned against you, or you must confront your sin with your husband.

Ask God For Forgiveness

By forgiving one another, your marriage will be restored. You must find it in your heart to forgive one another. If one has sinned against the other, face the problem and learn to move forward. Do not hold onto the problem; instead, let it go and move forward into a brighter future together. If you insist on holding onto the problem and not forgiving each other, then you will never be able to restore your marriage. When new issues arise, you’ll have a hard time confronting them since the issues will just keep piling up without being solved. This is why it’s important to keep moving forward and never look back. Based on (Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you. Ephesians 4:32), you must be kind and compassionate towards each other; thus, you must forgive each other.

“Father, please forgive me, for I have sinned. I also pray that my husband will forgive me. O Lord, let my husband know that I have forgiven him and that I wish for us to work and restore our marriage. Remind my husband why it is important for him to forgive me and seek forgiveness as well. Let him know that by forgiving each other, our marriage will be able to move forward. I entrust everything to You, Father. I know that You have forgiven us, for You love us unconditionally. Even though my husband and I have sinned, You have washed it away by sending Your son to die on the cross for us. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.”
