Prayer For My Husband’s Feet

Offering prayers for your husband’s feet is vital. Physically, our feet help us go to the places we need to go, but spiritually speaking, our feet lead us on the path we are meant to take. 2. Pray for strength

Our feet are not just body parts, but they also symbolize our walk with the Lord. As we run this race of life, we must ask God to strengthen our feet. The race  cannot be won by depending on ourselves, but those who hope in Him will find a renewal of their strength. They shall mount up with wings like eagles and shall not experience weariness as they run (Is. 40:31). Here is a prayer you can offer for God to strengthen your husband’s feet:

Almighty God, strengthen my husband’s feet as he walks with You. Teach him to depend on You alone, rather than on himself. 3. Pray for guidance

Some paths may look good at first but only lead to death (Prov. 14:12). Hence, you must always ask the Lord to guide your husband’s walk in life and prevent him from losing his way. If your husband is experiencing confusion, you should not hesitate to ask God to guide him. If you don’t know how to ask God for guidance, below is a prayer that can help:

Heavenly Father, guide my husband’s path so that he will not lose his way. Teach him to cling to Your Word and hold tight to Your promises, especially if he is confused. 4. Pray for righteousness

In Matthew 7:13-14, the Lord reminds us of the available gates: narrow and wide. Many choose the wide gate to destruction. However, the gate to life is narrow, and only a few enter it. If your husband is uncertain about what path he needs to take, ask the Lord to lead his feet on the path of righteousness. Below is a prayer that can help:

Abba Father, let my husband’s feet lead him on the path of righteousness. Let Your presence fill his heart so that he may seek Your will. Since we are perpetually engaged in spiritual warfare, we must make a stand by wearing the sandals of peace (Eph. 6:15). Holding onto the Word of God will keep us steadfast, even during trials and adversity. Through the truth of the Scriptures, the enemy cannot implant lies regarding our identity with our Lord Jesus Christ. We will remain in peace, knowing that we are loved and cared for. Ask God to grant your spouse the sandals of peace through this prayer:

Dear Lord, I pray for my husband today. Grant him the sandals of peace so that he can remain firm, despite trials and adversities. Teach him to rely on You alone.
