Prayer For My Husband To Find Employment

Within the context of a marriage, a husband’s fundamental responsibility is to love his wife in a selfless and unconditional manner. When things are tough for a wife and the children, they should be able to count on their husband and father as the rock-solid support that their family needs. As the person in charge of the household, they are expected to provide for the entire family. Their shoulders are loaded with the weight of enormous responsibility to care for the family and provide for all of their needs. If there are no jobs available or other ways to get money, achieving this goal will be extremely difficult. Since the Lord is our Father, all we have to do is ask, and He will provide for us. For this reason, it is necessary for us to seek the Lord’s counsel and ensure that our husbands have career opportunities that come from the Lord.

Dear Lord,

I see your faithfulness in so many ways—you never let me down! You remain the same devoted God whom we serve, even during tough circumstances. I ardently pray that my husband will have the chance to obtain employment because I am aware that without You, we are nothing. Since there is nothing impossible in Your name, I firmly trust that Your ways are always superior to mine. I’ll keep holding out hope that You will grant my heart’s desires. We will continue to experience your kindness and grace throughout the course of our lives. Amen.

Almighty Father, 

You, oh Lord, are my refuge and my strength. In Your presence, I find peace, joy, and comfort. In Your name, my fears and doubts disappear. I humbly present myself unto you as I make a petition that you grant my husband employment where he can lovingly serve You. May it be the kind of job that is pleasing in Your eyes and brings forth glory in Your mighty name. I stand by your word and claim victory over my family members’ lives, Lord. Lord Jesus,

You have come into this world so that we may have life and have it more abundantly. You even sacrificed Your very life for us. I will forever be in awe of Your majesty as I come to honor You in all Your ways. God, You are the creator of heaven and earth, You’ve known me long before my birth, numbered my hair, and chosen me as your daughter. All these things were set for a certain purpose—to serve You. Now, I have come to you as I pray for my husband’s work that he may be able to land a job where he is valued as a person, one that acts as an avenue for him to perform his heavenly purpose. May he find his existence relevant in Your plans and actively participate in winning the souls around him for Your glory. Amen!

Dear God, 

Being the creator of our life, we thank You for who You are. Our only possession when we enter this planet is Your unwavering love. It is a love that does not keep track of wrongdoing. We have a chance to view Your majestic throne since You extended Your forgiveness to us. Lord, please heed my prayer that You will throw open heavens’ windows and pour opportunities down for my husband to find employment that is in line with Your moral teachings. A position that requires integrity and the use of only his bare hands. May he be able to choose kindness and endure hardships, even while being cursed or tormented. Enrich his heart with joy as he toils and make him a blessing to all those around him. Amen!

Father,

Our lives have always been a living testimony to your works. It has always been Your grace that has kept us going. Despite our flaws, your caring love constantly presses us to make the correct decision. Since we are your vessels, Lord, I ask that you continue to work on us. Rule our minds and live in our hearts. God, do as you please. I give my husband’s life to You, God, along with mine. Put him on a pedestal so that he can have a good job to support Your works. Give him a compassionate and servile heart that is driven by a strong desire to follow Your example. You have always been reliable and sufficient. I raise my voice in praise of You today because You are gracious and because Your mercy endures forever. Father, I plead in prayer for Your name to be exalted in the heavens with thanksgiving and adoration. Lord, grant my husband’s employability efforts your favor. Bless him so that he can continue Your holy intercession with a committed and persistent heart. Sanctify his handiwork so that it will bear fruit from righteous deeds. Have him seek Your blessing in every step he takes so that he will have faith in Your promise. Take him into account for Your divine help so that he can walk this life guilt-free in Your eyes. Amen.

You have invited us into Your warm arms to enjoy the bounty of the earth—milk and honey. You passionately shielded us and provided for our salvation. You deserve all of our honor, acclaim, and worship for all You have done and have yet to accomplish. Because of Your blood, we have been given a meaningful existence. I declare life and provision for my spouse, who intends to find a job, as Your inheritor. I am praying that he will be able to land a lucrative position that will glorify God throughout his life, thanks to Your Holy Spirit. He will relish carrying out Your command to bless others. He will agree to perform work for Your benefit. Amen!

Dear Lord,

You have always been there for me; you are the same unchanging, loving God that I have always served. You diligently demonstrated to me during the season that anything is possible in your powerful name. I prostrate myself before you with all of my being so that you may hear my heart’s wish to provide my spouse with a stable job. May it be a position that will allow him to demonstrate your goodness by generosity. So that you may abundantly bless him, give him the desire to give to others and help those in need. Give him the opportunity to carry your flag and act as a conduit for blessings. Give him your strength and knowledge so that he might endure in trust. Amen.

God,

I’ve witnessed Your marvelous works throughout my life. You’ve always valued me by sticking by me, despite my shortcomings. I pray to You, God, for I find solace in Your tender embrace. Through my voice, I express my reverence for You, the maker of heaven and earth. Lord, I ask that You continue Your benevolent deeds in our lives, especially for my husband, who is working hard to find a job that will allow him to make money in line with Your plan. May You lead him with Your wisdom so that he can overcome all the difficulties and tests that life throws at him. Loving Father,

You have made the truth clear and understandable for us so that we may fully comprehend You and be free from deception. Even now, you have forewarned us of the soul-snatching lies of the enemy. We rely on the words of God, so please give us the heart to serve You and not the world. Give us the freedom to select You over the latter every time. Please give my husband the same heart in this regard so that he can find a career that will allow him to give himself to You in service completely. Give him the courage to express Your message at work. God, I believe in Your purposes for his life. Amen.

How to Pray for your Husband to have an Employment

1. Sense of purpose.

1 Peter 2:9 “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.” (KJV)

It is imperative that you have a distinct vision when searching for employment that supports your capacity for purpose. That vision will show you how to be effective in all aspects of your life. You must realize that working will help you fulfill both your obligation to serve God and your financial necessities. Your commitment to carrying out God’s will surpasses everything this world can provide, thereby giving you a firm basis upon which to build your faith, despite all the trials you must go through. You were designed to worship God among all of creation; therefore, this mission will take precedence above any rewards from this world. Don’t sacrifice your values or abandon your goals in favor of momentary ease.

2. Manifest your faith.

Hebrews 11:6 “But without faith, it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” (KJV)

Like any other prayer, yours must be based on faith in God’s will for the world. Therefore, when you ask for anything, let your confidence be evident since nothing is impossible with God. Every time we discuss faith, it becomes impractical if we don’t put it into practice. Your desire to obtain things must go hand in hand with your faith; otherwise, you will fall short. When you connect your ideas and deeds with the wisdom of the Holy Spirit, that is when true faith begins. You will then start to act joyously in sharing God’s love with others and start to see things more spiritually. Because you have been molded in God’s image, you have power over everything and are able to worship Him. Even when circumstances seem hopeless, have confidence, and believe in God’s plan. He always succeeds!

3. Do not compare.

2 Corinthians 10:12 “For we dare not make ourselves of the number or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they are measuring by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.” (KJV)

Even though the world wants you to believe otherwise, no one is above or below you. This falsehood has led us to believe that social standing and financial level determine our place in the hierarchy. You are given assumed control over those below you as if you have the right to be their master if you can demonstrate your wealth or power in any way. However, Your Lord is the truth, the life, and the path; thus, you are not required to follow the world in this way. Even though your grace or gifts may differ from others, they all came from the same source, God. Thus, it does not mean that you are lost or forgotten if you are made to wait, as though everything is on hold. God is letting you know that everything is in control. It can be quite tempting to gauge your success against others during this period, but you must resist the urge, as doing so could spell your doom. Keep in mind that trying to get things done on your own terms will never work. Always feel cherished in God’s light.

4. Pursue thanksgiving.

1 Thessalonians 5:18 “In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” (KJV)

Life is an opportunity to present oneself in the best way possible; it is not a race or a contest. For those who value you, you will matter. You should strive to have a grateful heart for this reason. Express your gratitude to the one who frees you, the life-giver, healer, and teacher, in every situation. You have every day of your life to fulfill your mission; each day is an opportunity for you to become better, and every aspect of your life should make you feel grateful. You have the capacity and ability to open new horizons for as long as you live. Keep in mind that you already have citizenship in heaven and were selected and destined in the fullness of God’s favor, so don’t set limits for yourself based on human standards. Give thanks for everything you do as you go through life.

Finally, you must realize that your husband is more valuable than the work itself when you begin to pray for his career. Because he is achieving his goal of glorifying God and carrying out his plan by bringing blessings to other souls, he is valued by more than what he can put on the table. Hence, he needs your encouragement and moral support. Always have faith in the Lord’s plan and provision because He is on your side. Your husband’s defense will be strengthened by His grace, enabling him to overcome any challenge. Respect your husband, motivate him, and share aspirations with him.
