God is omniscient. He knows the perfect way to do things. He knows exactly what to do and when to do it. He is omnipotent in that everything is possible for Him. He surely can do anything for His greatest creation, man, including softening a hardened heart.

God can definitely soften a hardened heart, for everything is possible with him [ Luke 1:37 (NIV) ]. He softened the heart of the apostle Paul [ Acts 9:1-19 (NIV) ] and brought him back to the right path. God does not want man to have a hardened heart. God wills man to always have a soft heart. However, when the heart of man gets hard, God turns things around and softens it. He can soften your husband’s heart, for he created your husband to be good and able to feel for people.
