Dear Lord God,

Your love is everlasting. Thank you for loving me through my husband. Thank you for caring for me through him. I see your great love for my husband and me. I am delighted and excited to be married to him. I look forward to loving him more and being loved by him as well. Father, please let the love we have for each other grow. To gain wisdom is to have a better marriage. The Bible tells us in James 1:5 (NIV) that 

we should ask for wisdom, and God will bestow it upon us.

You are omniscient. You are in control of everything. Lord, I believe in your will for my husband and me. Please give us wisdom as we take the next step in our relationship. Lead us, O Lord. 4:32 (NIV), the apostle Paul commanded the Christians to forgive others. You may ask

You have accepted us, despite our mistakes and imperfections. Thank you for welcoming us. I know that we do not know each other the way you do. When you and your husband are courageous, you can face anything with God. The

You are the author of courage. Please grant us brave hearts as we face this day and our future together as a couple. You are the source of good health. You want me and my husband to enjoy that good health. To be content is to see that God has given you everything you need. (But godliness with contentment is great gain. 1 Timothy 6:6 (NIV) says that being content is beneficial. You may come to God in prayer to ask for contentment this way:

Dear Lord God,

You always supply us with contentment, as you do with all our needs. Help us to see all your blessings and use your provisions. May we be eternally grateful for everything you have given us and continue to give us. Because You are our Father, make us glad with your gifts of love. Help us enjoy them. Fill our hearts with contentment. Make us satisfied with all these blessings and those future ones that you will shower upon us in our marriage. I pray for all these things, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
